When someone you love has an addiction, you need support too. Al-Anon and similar family groups offer exactly that — a room full of people who understand, and tools to reclaim your peace.

What Al-Anon is

Al-Anon is a free, worldwide fellowship for friends and families of people with a drinking problem (Nar-Anon serves families affected by drugs). Members share experience and support, guided by the same 12-step principles, focused on your well-being.

What you gain

• The relief of not being alone
• Practical wisdom on boundaries and detachment with love
• A place to set down guilt and shame
• Tools to live your own life again, regardless of whether your loved one gets sober

A key lesson
